Camille Truyffaut BELGIAN, b. 1993

Overview
Camille's artistic research questions the delicate balance between revealing the moment of transition from one colour to another, from one form to another. She explores shapes and colours at the very edge of disappearance, what connects them to time, space and light, in order to challenge our habits of observation.
Born in Namur in 1993, Camille Truyffaut lives and works in Brussels and is currently an artist-in-residence at the KULT studios in Ixelles.
She graduated with a master’s degree in printmaking from the Antwerp Academy in 2018, earning both the First Prize for Printmaking and the Swa Beerten Prize. Her work focuses on themes of perception and transformation, exploring various media such as ceramics, paper, glass, and fabric, and creating layered installations. Her artistic research delves into what connects us to time, space, and light.
Her most recent solo exhibition, "Appâts pour les yeux" ("Baits for the Eyes"), was showcased in May 2024 at Galerie NONO in The Hague.
