Basile Boon (°1989, BE) is a visual artist. After studying theater and architecture, he initially turned to craftsmanship, experimenting with various mediums. Through his monumental works and more intimate creations, Basile Boon invites us to discover a universe where ceramics become a language in its own right, capable of telling stories, questioning space, and opening dialogues between the past, present, and imagination.
His work has been presented in various exhibitions, including his first solo exhibition Chaos et Désir, in collaboration with gallerist Juliette Seydoux, Vertige at Dumonteil in Paris, and YOUNG BELGIUM OPUS II: Fiction(s) at the Patinoire Royale in Brussels in 2023. He has also completed commissions for Villa Franca in Paris, Château François, and the Hermès window display in Megève in 2023.
