Fengdan Qin (°1997) is a Chinese-Belgian artist based in Brussels, graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Her work explores existence by blending pictorial pleasures, postmodern literature, and natural history, evoking wonder, introspection, and appreciation for nature.
By deconstructing traditional narratives, her paintings invite contemplation, challenge norms, and embrace life's mysteries. Rooted in a deep reverence for interconnectedness, her imagination weaves past, present, and future. The human body—both fragile and resilient—serves as her muse, with flesh as a fleeting canvas for life's intricate stories.
